This Snowflake Puzzle is a creative way to celebrate the winter season. All you need is some paper, a marker, popsicle sticks, and a pair of scissors, and you can create a fun winter puzzle. This is a great homemade gift to give as well!

Level of Difficulty: Moderate to Difficult

Here's what you'll need...

•White paper (cardstock is best, but construction paper will work too)
•Black marker
•8 popsicle sticks
•Glue
•Scissors

Here's how you make it...

1. Cut your paper into a 4"X4" square. With your black marker draw on your snowflakes. Try to make sure you get some snowflake on each section of your paper.

2. Begin to glue your popsicle sticks across your picture. Make the sticks flush with the top, you should have some bare stick at the bottom of your picture (that way you'll know what is the 'bottom' of your puzzle). Leave enough space between the popsicle sticks to allow a pair of scissors to get through (about 1/8").

3. With your scissors, cut inbetween each popsicle stick. Now you have a winter puzzle to give or keep!

If you want a nice place to keep your puzzle, tie a red ribbon around the lip of a jar (baby food jar is a good size) and place your puzzle pieces inside!

If you want to make this puzzle a little more fancier, use color paper for your background and paint your snowflakes on with white paint!
