Stained Glass Vase

Mom will surely love to recieve this beautiful, homemade stained-glass vase. Look around the house for a jar, and also some wild flowers to put in the vase when you're done!

Level of Difficulty: Moderate

Here's what you'll need

• Glass jar
• Tissue paper (at least 3 colors)
• Glue
• Water
• Big paint brush
• Small piece of ribbon
• Scissors

Here's how you make it...

1. Cut your tissue paper in squares, they shouldn't measure bigger than 1"x1" (smaller jars will turn out better if you use smaller sized squares).

2. Water down your glue (about 1t glue to 1T water)and using a big paint brush, 'brush' on each square of your stained-glass. Brush glue on the jar, place your square on top, and then brush more glue on top. Cover the entire jar.

3. Once the glue is dry (the glue will dry quickly because it is so 'thin') tie a piece of ribbon around the top. Congratulations, you're done!
